Information for Tenants

Information for tenants: We operate primarily in the Anerley and Penge areas. Both Bromley and Croydon are easily accessible for great shopping and the excellent sports and leisure facilities in nearby Crystal Palace are minutes away. There are four local rail stations with a typical journey time into Central London of around 17 minutes.We aim to offer good value for money accommodation, which is always maintained to the highest standard.
Typical rental costs are as follows:
>>Studio apartment from £350 per >>calendar month
>>One bed flat from £525 pcm
>>Two bed flat from £600 pcm
>>Three bed flat from £750 pcm.
All properties are offered to rent unfurnished. Contract & Rent Details Contracts are typically drawn up for a 6 or 12-month period. The rent is payable by calendar month in advance.
During your tenancy, either Mackstone or your landlord (for managed properties) will be available to deal with any queries/problems, which may arise. These will normally be dealt with within 24 hours whenever possible. Deposit We require one month's rent in advance as a deposit against damage or dilapidations over and above normal wear and tear. This deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy, provided the property is left in a clean and tidy, damage free condition. You will receive an inventory prior to occupation and this will be checked when you are ready to leave.
References: We require at least two references and these will always be checked prior to you being offered the tenancy. In addition, we need to see proof on income such as a wage slip or bank statement. We reserve to right to perform credit checks in certain cases, should this prove necessary, we will of course inform you prior to the check being carried out. Utilities Prior to taking up residency in one of our properties, you should arrange with the local utility companies (i.e. gas electric water telephone and council tax) of your intention and ensure that relevant accounts are entered into your name. This should be done 3-4 days prior to commencement of tenancy start date.
