2025 Renters Rights Act
Key Facts

  • All residential tenancies after 1st May 2026 must be Assured Tenancies.  All tenancies will be rolling tenancies (sometimes known as periodic tenancies).

  • The Renters Rights Bill will introduce a private rented sector Landlord Ombudsman. 

  • All Landlords must subscribe to this service.

  • The Bill will also create a private rented sector database to.

  • Landlords must register onto the database and upload property details etc.
